It’s so easy to come to the point in prayer where you feel it’s all been said before and every tear that can be cried has been cried in intercession. In my quiet time this morning I felt Him remind me that He collects every one of our tears in a bottle.
Psalm 56:8 – You keep track of all my sorrows.
You have collected all my tears in your bottle.
You have recorded each one in your book.
He told me that when He said He would make roadways in the wilderness and streams in the desert He was partially alluding to the state of our hearts when we have grown tired and weary with all the “when?” and “how?” questions running around our minds.
This is when He said something amazing to me that I wanted to share. He told me that in this coming move will be a mighty downpour that is made up of our tears and His glory!!! He will cover over all those areas that are our greatest areas of frustration, where the most tears have been cried! Our tears mixed with His glory will bring LIFE, RESTORATION, and HEALING into the very soil where we have seen nothing but dry dirt and barrenness!! It is a powerful combination tears and glory and it will yield a beautiful garden in our lives.
I saw people kneeling on the ground and as they cried the tears rolled on the ground in front of them and then the rain came and hit the same spot. Beautiful flowers started popping up everywhere!!! It surprised the people and even though a minute ago they had no energy, they were suddenly filled with tremendous zeal and joy for what God had done! They started skipping like children with dancing and singing. It was across the land, people everywhere rejoicing and dancing in the rain of His love and glory!
I heard Him say…
“The places of your greatest heartbreak will be the same locations of your greatest breakthrough!”
This is why it is so important that we DO NOT grow weary in doing good for in due season WE SHALL REAP!!
